This listing is for the actual
formula of Timeless Treasure CompoundTM breastmilk preservation
powder. All the ingredients, all the amounts, and all the information you’ll
ever need to ensure any breast milk keepsake you create will last as long as humanly
possible.
In this formulary, you’ll not only receive a list of all the
ingredients and instructions on how to make Timeless Treasure CompoundTM,
you’ll also receive a crash-course in the biology and biochemistry of
breastmilk and preservation, including:
- What's in breastmilk?
- Why does breastmilk decay in resin, and what causes it?
- What can be done to prevent discoloration?
- What are the other sources of discoloration besides the breastmilk, and how can I prevent them?
- What other steps can I or my clients take to prolong the life of these precious treasures?
Using the knowledge included in this formulary, and TTCTM as a starting point, you can go on to create your own new and improved breastmilk preservation powder, with your own proprietary formula. If that’s not something you’re interested in, you’re still free to create as much Timeless Treasure CompoundTM as you want for use in your own creations, no licensing or royalty fees needed.
Now, you may be wondering why we’re giving my formula out, especially for so cheap, when literally every other breastmilk preservation powder is a closely guarded secret. Does it work? What’s the catch? Do I need it? How do I use it? What am I allowed to do with it?
All these questions and more can be answered in the FAQ here!
The short version is this:
My breastfeeding journey was beyond special to me. I fell in
love with breastmilk jewelry and wanted my own. When I couldn’t afford it, I
decided to try and make something myself. I was mortified after hearing the
horror stories of jewelry turning brown or even molding with nearly every DIY
method; and quickly grew frustrated and almost angry with the gatekeeping and
utter secrecy around breastmilk preservation powder. I didn’t expect artists to
list out ingredients of their popular sold-out powders, but even when I was
trying to learn how to formulate a recipe, it was nearly impossible to find the
tiniest hint of where to begin. It’s no wonder there’s so many heartbreaking
stories of ruined keepsakes. There’s not enough access ANYWHERE. To the
keepsakes, to the well-made powders, to the knowledge of even the BASIC formula
ingredients—Shoot, there’s not even enough access for someone wanting to LEARN
how to make their own formula from scratch.
Nobody helps. That ends today.
From the deepest depths of my frustration was born a goal. Using my background in biochemistry, I was going to create a scientifically based formula, backed by controlled experiments, and then release it. I would make it my mission to spread the knowledge of how to properly preserve breastmilk for resin, so that every resin artist could create a breastmilk keepsake with confidence. And hopefully in the future, as more resin artists have access to good preservation techniques, more and more resin artists will add breastmilk keepsakes to their repertoire, expand the market, and ultimately make breastmilk keepsakes accessible to as many moms as possible.
Though we decided not to release the formula for TTCTM for free due to health and safety reasons, in the interest of that first step of making the knowledge accessible, I’ve still chosen to release this formula in a “pay what you
can” format. The information is invaluable and the culmination of nearly a year
of scientific research and experiments, so at the generous suggestion of many
of you, we’ve allowed for additional tips to be included in the price for those
who want to support and thank our efforts in making breastmilk jewelry and keepsakes more accessible.
